Necrogiant Guide — Strategy & Tips
The battle against the Necrogiant — is a unique fight against two enemies at once: the Necrogiant himself and his partner — the Giant. Both bosses share a common health pool, but they must be kept separated to avoid the damage debuff from the binding tether effect, which triggers if they get too close.
Additionally, the Necrogiant is completely immune to magic damage, so the focus must be on physical legions, especially archers.
Step-by-Step Strategy
Step 1: Positioning and separating the bosses
- Assign two tanks to keep the Giant and Necrogiant apart from each other.
- Mages and casters should focus on the Giant, while physical classes, especially archers, attack the Necrogiant.
- Ranged units remain mobile to dodge AoE attacks and maintain distance.
- Infantry helps with holding aggro and physically keeping the bosses separated.
Step 2: Teleportation and invulnerability phase
- Periodically both bosses become invulnerable and activate teleportation, swapping places in the arena.
- Any attack on the Necrogiant during this time triggers a counterattack, especially dangerous in Elite mode.
- Do not attack during the invulnerability phase. Instead, keep your distance and stay mobile to avoid stray AoEs.
Step 3: Projectiles and barriers
- The Necrogiant summons eyes that launch orbs and cross-shaped barriers across the arena.
- These attacks deal percentage-based damage to legions — they cannot be ignored.
- Spread out across the arena and always track projectile paths, especially before the teleport phase.
Step 4: Dark Flame
- After reaching a certain health threshold, the Necrogiant activates the Dark Flame phase.
- The arena fills with purple energy, and two protective seals appear on the ground.
- To survive:
- Stand on one of the seals to become immune to damage
- Move towards healing mana stones while protected
- After healing — regroup on your targets (Giant / Necrogiant)
Elite Version Features
In Elite mode, the fight becomes much harder:
- +125% health, attack, and defense for the boss
- -50% healing effectiveness for all your legions
- New mechanic — Dark Reprisal: if the Necrogiant is struck during invulnerability, he immediately counterattacks, dealing massive damage
In this mode, it is crucial to not attack the Necrogiant while teleport or darkness phases are active. Maintain high mobility and clear role assignments.
General tips for success:
- Assign players to track phases and teleports
- Use archers and physical units against the Necrogiant
- Mages focus on the Giant
- During invulnerability, stop attacking
- Always keep the bosses separated
- Use mana stones during the Dark Flame phase
