How to Increase Power Fast — 18 Tips
Are you new to the world of Call of Dragons and want to quickly increase your power? Power in this game is not just a number – it’s a multifaceted concept that includes strategy, understanding game mechanics, and of course, choosing the right troops.
In this detailed guide, we’ll look at the most effective ways to increase your strength. You’ll learn about the unique skills of different troop types, as well as how to use in-game resources to strengthen your gameplay. In addition, we’ll share some insider tips that can completely change your game.
Here are eighteen tips to help you quickly increase your power in Call of Dragons.
1. Daily CP Spending
One of the most important daily tasks is spending Command Points (CP). Surprisingly, you can encounter negative CP spending – and that’s not bad! When you engage in consecutive attacks, you get a discount on CP usage. This means you can perform more actions without consuming CP too quickly. Instead of attacking and instantly returning to base, keep going. The more you attack, the less CP you use. Check your battle reports via mail, and you’ll see you’re earning valuable rewards that increase your overall power. These rewards can be crucial for improving your stats. By spending CP, you also level up your heroes – and higher hero levels mean more power. It’s a win-win situation: you’re not just spending CP, you’re investing it for short- and long-term gains.
2. Resource Gathering
When you’re not using CP, don’t let your troops sit idle. Use this time for resource gathering. Here’s how to maximize it:
Farming during breaks
If you’re about to sleep or take a break, send your troops to gather resources. Many players do this, and you should too. It’s a simple but effective way to keep progressing even when you’re not playing actively.
Stay notified
Set your phone to notify you when your troops finish gathering. That way, you can send them back immediately, maximizing your resource gain.
Why farming matters
Gathering resources isn’t just a filler task – it’s essential. You need these resources for upgrades, which in turn increase your power in the game. So while your CP regenerates, make sure your troops are always working for you.
3. Create a Farm Account: A Great Move for Resource Management
Another pro tip from experienced players: create a farm account! This extra account can become a powerful tool for managing resources. Here’s how:
Creating a farm account
The process is simple. All you need is a new email on the same server or to buy one from other players. Once created, your farm account becomes your personal resource bank that you can use anytime. For more details, check our guide: How to create a farm account in Call of Dragons.
Transferring resources
You have two options: either transfer resources from your farm account to your main, or raid your farm account to claim them. This flexible system gives you more control over your resource management.
Bonus:
In the Alliance Market, you’ll notice weekly limits on farming and resources. Use these limits to speed up your progress and avoid wasting money on resource packs.
4. Scouting
Another daily activity worth your time is scouting missions. While they may seem simple, they offer various rewards that help you level up faster.
5. Capturing Battle Pets
One of the latest additions to the game is battle pets – and this is a feature you can’t ignore. Capturing pets can take your strategy to the next level by adding more power to your gameplay. That’s why you should make this a daily habit. Pets provide unique advantages that can give you an edge over other players. At the start of a new season, you’ll have limited orders (around two per day). As you progress, this increases to five daily orders. You can also buy extra orders in the Merit Shop. If you’re new to pets, check the battle pet guide or tier list for details on how best to use them in your strategy.
6. Treasure Chests
Another daily must-do task is hunting for treasure chests. Opening them gives you a chance to find top-tier artifacts and Arcane Dust, significantly boosting your power and making the game more fun. Don’t miss this activity! The game has different chest types: Dark, Elite, and Supreme – each with unique rewards. Also, opening chests accumulates “Luck Points.” At 100 points, you’re guaranteed a legendary artifact. Keep in mind that after claiming it, your points reset.
7. Silver and Gold Chests
It may be tempting to save silver and gold chests, especially if you’re cautious with resources, but this can actually hold you back. Here’s why you should open them:
- Opening them can give you valuable items to upgrade your heroes – boosters, or even legendary heroes that massively increase your strength.
- If you already have maxed heroes, you can recycle them in the Goblin Market to buy more Gold Keys – leading to even more rewards like boosters.
8. Join a Strong Alliance
Joining an alliance is not just about grouping with others – it’s a strategic move that can greatly accelerate your progress. Here’s why:
- Being in an alliance with big spenders lets you benefit from alliance chests, which often contain valuable items like boosters and honor points.
- If your current alliance is weak, consider switching to a winning one. A strong alliance helps you grow faster and survive in the game. Sometimes it means leaving old teammates – but remember, your goal is to become stronger.
- If you don’t want to leave your team, suggest merging with a stronger alliance. Together you’ll be more formidable.
At the end of the day, remember Call of Dragons is a game. Competition is fun, but it shouldn’t cause stress. Your main goal is to enjoy it.
9. Raise Your Honorary Membership Level
Your honorary membership level is hugely important. Try to reach at least level 12 quickly. Ideally, aim for level 8 first, since it unlocks the second research queue, speeding up tech development and boosting your power.
10. Use Boosters and Resources
You’ve probably stored plenty of resources like gold, wood, and stone in tokens, right? But don’t use them carelessly. Spend tokens only when necessary.
In the early game, you may want to use some boosters to level up quickly. This shows your alliance you’re serious, increasing your chances of being accepted. But don’t burn through everything right away.
In mid-game, start using boosters strategically. Save them for special events where the rewards are worth it – like “Strongest Lord,” which can grant amazing prizes such as new heroes. Other events focused on buildings, tech, or troops are also great opportunities.
11. Join Behemoth Raids
You can’t miss these events. Why? Because they’re a goldmine of resources, boosters, teleports, and even gems – all essentials to strengthen your account.
When a “Behemoth” raid appears, join your alliance members. Defeat the monster and collect tons of rewards. Don’t forget elite raids – they’re even better, offering exclusive profile frames.
12. Alliance Buildings
This is your ticket to more silver coins (contribution points). If your alliance is building a road, sending even one troop speeds it up and saves resources.
The Alliance Shop is your secret weapon. Spend your points on valuable items. For example, I’ve bought 60-minute research boosters to drastically cut research times. With 1.3 million points, I can buy 46 of them – game-changing, right?
13. Alliance Technologies
Don’t forget donations to Alliance Tech! It’s a great way to earn points. But the real value is in the accelerations they provide.
Boosters are like the secret sauce in Call of Dragons – they help you push past tough spots. Donating not only supports your alliance but also speeds up your own growth.
Make donating a habit. It’s win-win: your alliance grows stronger, and so do you.
14. Join the Merit War!
In Call of Dragons, war is at the heart of the game. You may ask: “But won’t I lose power by fighting?”
Of course, you may suffer losses – but that’s the point. The main benefit is earning merit through wars.
What can you do with merit? The Merit Shop (currently closed but reopening soon) lets you trade it for rewards – boosters, elixirs, CP potions, even pet skills.
So every battle is not just exciting, but also a way to collect valuable items to become stronger. In short: don’t fear wars – they’re your path to amazing rewards.
As our Alliance King says: “This is a war game. If you don’t want to fight, this game isn’t for you.”
15. Buying Bundles
Let’s talk money. If you’re willing to spend a bit, Call of Dragons offers various bundles. But don’t rush. Remember, it’s a virtual game – today it’s fun, tomorrow you may have other priorities.
So spend wisely and stick to your budget. There are free-to-play players, small spenders, and big spenders. Find your comfort zone. If you want to spend more – fine. If you enjoy it without spending much – also fine.
Bundles include daily offers and monthly packs at good value. If you want more hero tokens, the “Hero of Tamaris” bundle is the best choice. Once you hit T5, focus on that rather than just troop strength – it’s the smarter long-term investment.
In short: spend, but don’t overspend. Enjoy the game, but don’t let it drain your wallet.
16. Artifacts
Artifacts aren’t just decorations – they’re powerful strength boosters for your heroes. If you want to reach new heights, focus on them.
I have several high-level artifacts, and I can say they matter a lot. Upgrading them greatly increases your hero power – a true gamechanger in Call of Dragons.
17. City Analytics: Know Your Strengths
Don’t underestimate city analytics. It’s like looking under the hood of a car – you see what really drives your game.
Open your Town Hall and check the stats. You’ll see your military power, building speed, research rate, and more.
For example, you can check how strong your archers are in attack percentages. This helps plan your next steps, whether for war or upgrading troops.
Also, your city theme affects these stats. Wondering why your “Forest Eagles” have 72% defense? It could be due to the theme.
Overall, city analytics give you a complete picture of your strengths and weaknesses. Make it a habit to check – it’s your roadmap to becoming a Call of Dragons master.
18. Troops: The True Power in Call of Dragons
In Call of Dragons, power is not just numbers, but understanding mechanics. You can have high strength, but without fundamentals, you won’t use it fully. Let’s dig deeper:
Different factions, different buffs
Each faction offers unique troops with special buffs. For example, Springwardens’ archers get “Fearless,” which lowers movement speed but boosts physical attack. Knowing these buffs gives you an edge.
Physical and magical damage
There are two types of damage: physical and magical. Knowing which troops deal what damage helps you counter enemies effectively. Infantry, for instance, is strong against cavalry thanks to the “Rampage” skill.
Skills and strategies
Each troop type has unique abilities. Infantry has “Forge in Fire,” which boosts engineering when building or breaking barricades. Magical troops can strengthen nearby friendly legions’ defense.
Moose Riders: A Unique Unit
Moose Riders are like archers in cavalry form. They have “Cavalry Charge,” boosting physical attack briefly. But they lack “Unyielding Charge,” making them vulnerable to melee cavalry.
Cavalry Unit Skills
Unyielding Charge: A Gamechanger
This ability is crucial for cavalry. It lets you strike ranged units like archers and mages effectively. When you coordinate attacks, you instantly gain rage, letting you unleash skills faster and deal huge damage.

In short, understanding troop skills and how they interact with others is key to mastering Call of Dragons. It’s not just about high power, but using it smartly.
Learn your troops – it saves money and makes you a force to be reckoned with on the battlefield.
